A federal court – ruling on a challenge brought by a coalition of 24 states – struck down those tariffs and specifically enjoined their application to Washington state after ruling the other states lacked standing. While the scope of the injunction is limited to Washington and private party plaintiffs, other parties can now protest the tariffs in court and point to this ruling that declares the executive order to be illegal.

“This is a win for both affordability and the rule of law,” Brown said. “It’s American consumers and businesses that have ultimately paid for the president’s illegal tariff campaign. The court’s order will encourage more parties to challenge this illegal executive overreach.”

New York, N.Y. - Today, U.S. Representative Dan Goldman led a rally outside Palantir’s New York City office to protest the surveillance company’s role in President Trump’s immigration crackdown. He was joined by leading immigration groups and advocates — including New York Immigration Coalition, New Sanctuary Coalition, Make the Road New York, New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), and UnLocal.

The rally follows Rep. Goldman demanding that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security provide answers about its use of Palantir-developed software in its Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, including any usage of facial recognition tools during immigration enforcement operations and any data being collected about individuals peacefully observing, documenting, or protesting immigration enforcement. 

ATLANTA — Four Democrats in Georgia's congressional delegation sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday protesting the agency's demand for personal information about Fulton County workers and volunteers involved with the 2020 election when President Donald Trump was defeated by Joe Biden.

"Fulton County election workers have already endured years of threats and harassment from false claims about the 2020 election," said the letter to Todd Blanche, the acting U.S. attorney general. "The Department's subpoena risks compounding that harm by demanding the residential addresses and personal contact information of thousands of people who served in election administration."

In Congress, Rep. John Larson has introduced 13 articles of impeachment against Trump, with more than 85 House members publicly backing either impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment. All of which raises the question: how much of the general public wants Trump impeached?
